From Corporate Leader to Transformation Expert

1988 – 2017

The Corporate Foundation

Andy Fell’s journey to founding GIFT631 began in the unforgiving world of financial services, where he spent nearly three decades ascending to the most senior leadership positions across two banks in two continents. His corporate career was spent leading large, people centric distribution businesses, with P&L and balance sheet responsibilities.

Starting at RBS/NatWest Bank in the UK, Andy quickly distinguished himself, advancing from regional roles to Chief/Senior Chief Manager positions across South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. His exceptional performance led to increasingly complex challenges, including the role of Regional Managing Director for the East & North Scotland’s retail and small business banking operations.

But it was his transition to Westpac Group in Australia (2009-2017) where Andy’s leadership philosophy truly crystallised. Following a period as State General Manager for Queensland’s retail and business banking operations, Andy became General Manager for the St George consumer bank and then Wesptac’s Premium Bank leading teams and complex operations across Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and London.

In 2017, at the pinnacle of his corporate success, Andy made a decision that surprised many but felt inevitable to him. After taking the Rocking Chair Test, which became the title of his first book, Andy took the opportunity to multiply his impact by developing leaders, teams and talent groups across different sectors and geographies.
